Nia-Mission-Purpose

The Glenn Burleigh Music Workshop and Ministry Inc. was founded, as a non profit teaching and training organizaffon in 1993 by its major teacher, composer and performer, Glenn Edward Burleigh. Offering choral/sacred music workshops to churches, schools, colleges/conservatories, this workshop reaches out to students of of every race, and academic level. It is interdenominational in scope and celebrates the diversity among God's people.

Interaction with small instrumental ensembles as well as full symphony orchestras is a tool used to:

1. Make a joyful noise unto the Lord

2. Encourage the highest performance standards possible

3. Bring to smaller communities ministry and performance opportunities not often accessible to these communities

Mr. Burleigh and selected members from his roster of musicians travel across this country year round to share this music ministry with our nation and ultimately the world. We are funded in several ways:

1. Grants to organizations which sponsor our coming to their cities and towns

2. Honorariums/donations and love offerings from workshops, clinics, festivals, seminars, concerts and church worship services.

3. Sales from our ministry products tapes, CDs, books, sheet music and study materials. Hear samples on the new music clips page

4. Tax deductible contributions from the private sector and corporate sponsorship.

We praise the Lord for our financial support and we continue to look to Him as the source of our supply as we meditate on Philippians 4:19. Our God will supply our needs!!! As an act of gratitude,thanksgiving and good stewardship, this workshop plants financial seeds into churches and other ministries (through tithes and offerings). We also support aspiring church musicians, workshop clinicians and college music students. For this we are richly blessed.

The GLENN BURLEIGH MUSIC WORKSHOP AND MINISTRY INC. celebrates the marvelous richness and cultural diversity found in our great country and around the world. Because of our "higher calling", however, we must exalt the central figure of our calling, the "author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrews 12:1-2), Our LORD JESUS CHRIST. He is our MISSION.
